Ok. I begin this blog with a biiiiiiiig sorry. Sorry for being so late to post something new.
Sometimes, life springs up surprises. I am talking about the two incidents that happened recently which re-inforced my thought that good people still exist.
A few days back, I had gone somewhere and, while coming back, I got stuck. I hired a rickshaw. Half way through it started drizzling. Then the drizzle transformed in to torrential rain. I told the rickshaw fellow as I reached near my house that if he found it difficult to drive, I would get down. He told me that he would try to get me as far as possible. He drove very slowly as visibility was very less and roads were full of potholes. At last, after putting in great effort, he stopped the rickshaw just near my house. Surprisingly, he didn't charge single rupee extra. If it were any other fellow, he would have charged an exhorbitant amount and, may be, would have left me stranded somewhere. I told him that if it were not for him I wouldn't have reached home. I surely didn't mind giving him a few extra bucks.
The second incident happened when we went to see a movie on my brother's bike. Somebody cut the petrol pipe. Brother had been sick for some time. Although he could drive bike, putting petrol pipe required effort which his body did not accept. After a few tiring minutes of trying to put the pipe, he told me to look out for garage where he could give it for repairing. As I was not well versed with that place I asked a young fellow who stood chatting with his friends on the road side. He asked me what the problem was. I told him about the cut petrol pipe. I also told him that brother had bought a new pipe but I was looking out for a garage. He said that it was too late and the garage might have been closed. He said that if it were only the matter of putting petrol pipe he would do it. He came, struggled for around 15 minutes and put the pipe ultimately. When he was told to have an ice-cream he said "No", drove his bike and disappeared in the darkness. We don't know who he was or from where he had come. All we know is that if it were not for him we would have struggled with the bike at night.
These two incidents have taught me that God helps people in mysterious ways. Thank God, humanity is still alive.
